This neglect can lead to biodiversity loss, wildfires, and missed opportunities for sustainable management. With WoodsApp, we aim to change that. This map-based tool helps anyone — from private owners to professionals — monitor their land, plan actions, and take better care of their forests.
We generate digital maps through GIS.
GIS stands for Geographic Information System — think of it as a super-smart map that doesn’t just show where things are, but also stores data about those things and lets you analyze them. It combines different data like coordinates, shapes, areas on the Earth’s surface, information about tree type, soil quality, population density and other analysis tools.
This information also reveals details like vegetation health, land use, and water presence.
We process this satellite data in GIS software and use AI to turn it into practical, easy-to-use tools for landowners and forestry professionals.
WoodsApp PRO is the platform used by organisations, companies and service providers to streamline their work and communications with landowners. It is mainly used on a browser for office work, but can also be installed as an app in your mobile devices during fieldwork.
WoodsApp SMART is the app version used by landowners. If you own a forest and would love to monitor it easily, check digital maps of your parcel and assess vitality risks, you can simply download it here. The SMART version allows you to use the full set of tools at the price of 6,99 euros/per month.
At WoodsApp, your privacy is our priority. You always own your data, decide what to share, and can delete it at any time. All information is stored on secure, GDPR-compliant servers, and we never sell or share your personal data without consent.
Personal data will be stored in the WoodsApp for as long as you use the app, or you delete the account.
If you have not deleted your account but the account has been inactive for at least two years, BitApps Group reserves the right to delete your account and any personal data stored in the WoodsApp.
Personal data may be kept for a longer period if applicable law or BitApps’ obligations towards third parties require a longer retention period.
Behind WoodsApp, there’s a team of developers constantly working to upgrade the platform and improve the user experience. Most certainly, you will see an evolution of the applications, with more and more new features and possibilities that will make your work easier.
WoodsApp works on both Android and iOS devices.

Both apps also include an offline mode: maps (if downloaded beforehand), notes, and tasks are available even without a connection. Any updates made offline will sync automatically once you’re back online.
FOR LAND OWNERS
You stay the owner of your data. WoodsApp only processes it so you can use the platform, and you decide what to share with others (e.g. with organisations you connect to).
All information is stored securely in Germany on EU-based servers, and never shared without your consent.
If you delete your account, your data will also be deleted — or you can request removal earlier at any time under GDPR.

It lasts 14 days. After that, you will be asked to upgrade to the SMART version, which also unlocks many other possibilities to improve your workflow such as: addition of new tasks, of new parcels, access to the full list

Once you download the app and register as landowner, input your parcel data and start using the app. There is a dedicated section where you can see all the organisations and service providers available in your area.
Currently, one person per family or team manages the estate in WoodsApp. This helps keep ownership information consistent and avoids confusion when updating maps or tasks. Of course, you can still invite others to download the app and follow updates or receive notifications.
We are continuously developing WoodsApp, and multi-user estate management is on our roadmap — so in the future, collaboration will become even easier.
